We are looking for an Estimation & Costing Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience and strong AutoCAD designing skills (PRIORITY) to handle door and window estimation, costing, and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Analyze architectural drawings, PDs, and flow plans to identify door & window requirements.
2- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for doors, windows, sections, and hardware layouts (mandatory skill).
3- Calculate accurate quantities, sizes, types, and specifications for doors & windows.
4- Select suitable materials (uPVC / Aluminium / Glass / Hardware) based on project requirements.
5- Prepare cost estimates, including material, hardware, labor, and installation costs.
6- Generate professional quotations with item-wise breakup.
7- Coordinate with clients, sales team, and production for design and cost clarification.
8- Assist in value engineering and cost-optimization suggestions.
9- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for pricing and technical details when required.
Key Skills (Priority Order):
1- AutoCAD Designer – MUST (High Priority)
2- Strong understanding of door & window systems
3- Estimation & costing knowledge
4- Drawing analysis & quantity take-off
5- Basic vendor & material knowledge
Preferred Profile:
1- Experience in Doors, Windows, Façade, uPVC, or Aluminium industry
2- Ability to work independently on design + estimation
3- Good coordination & communication skills
